A visionary entrepreneur is someone has personal
vision, innovative an creative and can be world changer (Kaya Singer). Visionary entrepreneur are
known for their strategic abilities and their ability to view things with a
long-term perspective. Visionary entrepreneur also someone who will take a risk
and try to do new things to learn.
An visionary entrepreneur that we chose is Henry Ford.
Henry Ford is founder of Ford Motor Company in 1903. He born on July 30, 1863.
Since he is a young man he likes to learn and do something new. His father is a
farmer so, he could have followed in his father footstep’s but he was attracted
by machine and was wiling to take risk to pursue on that.
Then,Henry’s passion lay elsewhere, he building a
horseless carriage become his off hours obsession. With his gas-powered vehicle
he named the ‘quadricyle’ he attracted the attention of investors and started
his first company in 1899. unlike most
car makers at the dawn of the industry who saw the automobile as a playing for
the rich, Henry believed he could build an affordable vehicle for working
people. His vision ran counter to that of his backers and they pulled the plug
on his company, Henry’s lifelong hatred for the wealthy was born.
Ambitious and has his own personal vision.He set up to
make a name for himself in the new and dangerous sport of race car driving.
After a series of highly publicized victories, he was able to raise the money
to incorporate the Ford Motor Company in 1903.
Every several month, Henry
introduced a new model. With Henry as their leader, the team experimented with
innovative design for igniting the engine and for more flexible suspension
system and made use of steel that was lighter but tougher (American Experience, 2016).
Henry took inspiration from his past, he saw
opportunities technology as force for improving people lives. He is become the
most influential American innovator.
